At the natural landscape of the bay at the North end of Kea (Tzia) and the magnificent view of the sea, a residence was built, based on the traditional agricultural type of structure called “Kathikia”.
The new Agricultural Heritage Centre is composed as a new town square surrounded by cultural, civic and recreational activities that include the existing neighbouring cultural centre and church of Saint Fotios.
On June 2012 the first swapping bookshelf in Greece was installed, in the area of Kifissia. It was an initiative of the architects Eleftherios Ambatzis and Irini-Aimilia Ioannidou, who designed and managed to bring the project into life.
AA Greece Visiting School is a mobile design laboratory which travels and reaches every other city outside the country's capital. It functions as a 'satellite' of education that promotes the Architectural Association's exclusive, intensive form of teaching and learning around the country.
